TERMS OF USE.
These working terms describe independent Idea, Building and Live arenas, Arena Pass activation, optional Insights, account responsibilities and operator rights.
Working launch policy · Last updated 7 September 2026 · Review with qualified counsel before public launch. The service
LaunchThrone compares ideas, products in development and publicly usable products in three separate arenas. Verified people choose between two entries from the same stage, and qualified entries are ranked from neutral matchup results.
Rank reflects preference in LaunchThrone matchups, not objective product quality, an investment opinion, an award or a recommendation. Judging, drafting and previewing are free. An approved entry requires an eligible Founding Pass, replacement credit or paid Arena Pass when purchases are enabled. Payment never buys a competitive advantage.
Eligibility and submissions
You must be authorized to submit or manage the idea or product and provide accurate, lawful information. Each submission enters the arena that matches its current stage.
Idea accepts product concepts before they are built. A public website, launch date and visual are not required. Describe the problem and proposed solution, and confirm that the idea may be shown publicly without confidential information.
Building accepts products still in development and not generally available. State the development stage and provide a primary mockup or screenshot before review. A public website and completed launch are not required.
Live accepts publicly usable products. Provide a public product URL, product details, launch date and a primary screenshot before review.
You retain ownership of the product, idea, text and media you submit. By submitting public material, you grant LaunchThrone a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize and display it only as needed to operate, moderate, evaluate and promote the LaunchThrone listing and its arena record.
LaunchThrone is public. Do not submit confidential information, trade secrets or material you do not have permission to publish. You can request correction or removal through the structured ownership and content-reporting flows.
LaunchThrone may approve, reject, suspend, archive or remove listings for safety, accuracy, policy or legal reasons.
Matchups and seasons
The service targets equal neutral exposure, blocks founders and team members from voting for their own launches, and may quarantine or invalidate suspicious decisions. No payment changes rank, exposure, qualification, Spotlight or Hall of Fame.
Each weekly season has its own eligible entries and frozen final record. A product must meet published matchup and unique-judge thresholds before it can qualify.
Passes and Launch Insights
The reference prices are €9 for one Arena Pass, €19 for standalone Insights after 10 valid matchups, or €24 for their bundle, before any applicable checkout tax. Approval comes before purchase. A pass is consumed only when its arena actually starts, not at draft, review or reservation.
A platform-capacity shortfall below 12 valid matchups may qualify for a replacement entry credit under the Fair Exposure Guarantee. It does not guarantee ranking, customers or qualification regardless of unique-judge requirements. Free credits have no cash value.
Launch Insights is an optional analytical report sold separately through Lemon Squeezy. An entitlement is created only after a valid signed provider webhook is processed.
Buying Launch Insights unlocks report data only. It never buys votes, placement, matchups, qualification, Spotlight, Community Support or a competitive badge.
Acceptable use
Do not impersonate owners, submit unlawful content, coordinate or automate votes, manipulate tracking, attack the service, abuse checkout flows or misrepresent a matchup rank as an objective award.
We may rate-limit, investigate and preserve audit evidence when misuse is suspected.
Availability and liability
The service is provided without guarantees of rank, customers, traffic volume, conversion or uninterrupted availability. Votes and measured traffic may be filtered for duplication and abuse.
Liability limitations and governing-law language require jurisdiction-specific legal review before public launch.
