PURCHASES AND RECOVERY.
This working policy covers one-time project publication and earlier purchases. Paid publishing is not open yet. A refund review request is not a confirmed refund.
Working launch policy · Last updated 5 October 2026 · Review with qualified counsel before public launch. What a purchase covers
Paid publishing is not open yet. The planned price for permanent publication is €5.99 once per project. Eligible Founding projects receive free permanent publication, once per verified account. No purchase buys a ranking or exposure advantage. Applicable taxes and the final total will be shown before any future payment.
Publication access and refunds
Project publication is a one-time purchase with no subscription or automatic renewal. Published projects stay eligible for comparisons and rankings, subject to the site rules. A confirmed refund revokes the related purchased access.
Founding access gives one eligible project free permanent publication, once per verified account. It never renews or creates a charge. Earlier purchase and entitlement records remain preserved.
Refunds are not provided when a project is removed for violating the rules.
For a duplicate charge, a verified technical failure or a legally required refund, request a review with the order identifier in Payments & invoices. Applicable consumer rights are unaffected.
Earlier purchases
Earlier purchases keep their recorded terms, payment history and recovery rights. Existing billing records remain available in Payments & invoices. Contact support with the order identifier to review an earlier purchase.
Refunds may be approved for duplicate purchases, a report that could not be delivered because of a verified technical failure, a documented administrative correction or another legally required case.
Refund eligibility may also be governed by Polar’s merchant-of-record terms and applicable consumer law. Contact support with the order identifier shown in Billing.
Process and timing
Refund status follows Polar confirmation. Bank posting time is controlled by the payment provider and card network; a requested refund is not complete until the provider confirms it.
A full confirmed refund revokes the related purchased access. Partial refunds follow the recorded provider confirmation and appear in Payments & invoices.
